There are hundreds of tightly packed hiding spots, making it a challenging and engaging puzzle for your dog to solve, with just a handful of treats.
Our Sniffer Balls are handmade using industrial strength cable wires, so you don't have to worry about your dog pulling & tearing any stitching.
We use premium quality anti-pill fleece, which is long lasting and easy to wash, so you don't have to stress over keeping your Sniffer Ball clean.
MATERIALS:
Anti-pill polar fleece, which is thick and doesn’t tear easily, soft on your dog’s nose and easy to clean.
Industrial strength Nylon Cables, which are strong and durable.
SIZE GUIDE:
Medium Sniffer Ball: 6 inch diameter (Ideal for small and medium sized dogs)
Large Sniffer Ball: 8 inch diameter (Ideal for large and extra large sized dogs)
Always supervise your dog when using this toy, and keep it away when your dog is done.
To ensure your dog gets the hang of the game quickly – follow the following instructions:
Step 1 – Do not give an empty Sniffer Ball to your dog, when it first comes home.
Step 2 – While your dog is watching, hide a few treats in the Sniffer Ball. The first couple of times, ensure:
🐾 You use large sized treats at first, that are easier to find and pull out.
🐾 You hide the treats closer to the surface rather than deeply tucked in. Again, the idea is to have your dog gain confidence in solving the puzzle, without building up to frustration.
Step 3 – Once your dog is able to find all the treats this way, you can start to make the treats smaller , and then gradually hide the treats deeper too.
Step 4 – Once your dog is done, put the Sniffer Ball away.
Do not use wet treats. Using only dry food or treats will go a long way in keeping the Sniffer Ball clean.
Always check for leftover treats after your dog is done, by checking through the folds. Shaking vigorously may not help entirely, and a physical check works better to keep clean.
Handwash:
Check for left over treats and make sure they’re all removed. Soak in cold water for few minutes, before proceeding to hand wash.
Wring to squeeze out water, and dry in sun.
Machine wash:
Place the Sniffer Ball in a pillow cover or laundry mesh bag. Wash on gentle / handwash cycle, using minimal amounts of pet safe detergent.
Dry in sun. Do not dry in machine dryer.

we were initially apprehensive of the snuffle ball because of our preconceived notion that since this is portable dogs can get into excited mode. well i was completely wrong. my elder girl Micah took it so well that now the snuffle ball is her comfort toy. she is not a toy person but she looks at her snuffle ball with immense respect. carries it to bed everyday like its her possession that magically helps her sniff, get treats, calm down, and induce good sleep. some days i hide treats in the snuffle ball so that when she is wired up or stressed she can cope by herself taking the snuffle ball in her mouth and sniff away to glory to cope with whatever that is stressing her

Before we get onto Snuffle Ball, I must say that all your enrichment toys are amazing and the best way to keep our boy busy. We mostly use the snuffle ball after his morning walk. Rancho has slowly become a pro in finding the treats but he still loves rolling and sniffing and then getting to eating. Also, the ball is quite tough as sometimes our boy has used it as a play ball but it is going strong!! We are soon gonna order the snuffle kebab.
